Blake Sealy runs course's fastest time on record; Zaria Hall wins by 0.3

BETHPAGE, N.Y. — November 9, 2024 — Manhasset's Blake Sealy won boys Class B at the State Qualifier/Clint Miller meet in a personal-best 15:37.80, the fastest time on record on the course, and East Meadow's Zaria Hall won girls Class A in 19:13.40 in the closest finish of the day. Farmingdale's George Thomatos won boys Class A in 16:03.90.

Sealy won by 22.2 seconds over Matteo Somma (16:00.00), with Garden City's Ryan McAlea third in a personal-best 16:04.30. Sealy's time was the fastest of any runner on the day, and Manhasset's Nicolas Katsoulis was 10th overall in 16:16.00.

Hall held off Great Neck South's Isabella Spagnoli by 0.3 seconds, 19:13.40 to 19:13.70, and her East Meadow teammate Anaya Hall was third in 19:14.00. Thomatos beat Syosset's Gavin McGann (16:15.20) by 11.3 seconds, and Oceanside's Tyler DeCiantis was third in a personal-best 16:18.90.

Oyster Bay's Zach Greene won boys Class C in a personal-best 16:06.40, 48.7 seconds ahead of Wheatley School's Anthony Baldasano (16:55.10). Cold Spring Harbor's Sofia Mulada won girls Class C in a personal-best 19:51.00, 8.7 seconds ahead of teammate Ariana Madeira (19:59.70).

Friends Academy's Aislinn Frazer ran the fastest girls time of the day, 18:12.80, 50.3 seconds faster than any other girl. North Shore's Chloe Connolly ran a personal-best 19:03.10 and South Side's Fayola Allison a personal-best 19:06.60 for the next-fastest girls times.
